A Modern View on Luxury PR
An elevated experience with a PR agency isn’t reserved for fine goods and products. Here’s our modern definition of Luxury PR and how it influences our work with our clients.
What does the word “luxury” bring to mind for you? Do words like “high-end,” “easeful,” “no stress,” “beautiful,” “exclusive,” or “curated” come to mind? Or have you been taught that luxury is unattainable, out of reach, and only reserved for those with big budgets?
When it comes to public relations, I want to redefine what Luxury PR means in 2023. Traditionally, Luxury PR was a sector of marketing reserved for brands like designer fashion, high-end travel, or precious jewelry. At Meg Androsiglio PR, we offer a Luxury PR experience, but it’s not reserved for specific types of clients.
For modern Luxury PR, you can expect a few of these behaviors and must-haves:
Curated experiences made for your brand and your brand only - No copy paste strategies here. Every PR and marketing package we offer each of our clients is made to fit their individual needs. A one-size fits all approach does not work when it comes to marketing, and it certainly doesn’t make you feel like your publicist “gets” your brand. Depending on your business goals, your current company set up and the state of the media industry, doing luxury PR means we will propose a program that is tailored to you and you alone.
Thoughtful communication and beautiful presentation - What is more annoying than when you ask your business partners, colleagues or employees a question and they answer in half sentences? Or when you look forward to a presentation all week only to see that there are no slides prepared and a clumsy Google doc outline to follow. Luxury PR means we answer questions before you even think to ask them. We are intuitive communicators who love to be thorough and overshare with our clients. We want to feel like one team, so we communicate like we are one. And when you need to see a presentation, we create external materials, or offer branding templates, you can bet we’ve got our best people on it to make them look beautiful and enticing.
Senior team on the business - With Luxury accounts, you can expect the founder, principal, CEO of the agency to have an influence on the work and a presence in team communications. You want that experience and resilience to lead the charge when it comes to your publicity work, and to be sure the founder is just as dedicated to your success as you are. This practice is standard at Meg Androsiglio PR.
Little to no anxiety around the work - The stereotypical publicist is a frazzled woman running around with a ringing phone, wearing all black and barking directions to a scared staff as a frustrated client looks on. After 15 years in the business, I’ve seen the stereotype at work and I can tell you it is no way to run a business or a publicity account. We have a saying - “PR is not ER.” There is no reason to make unnecessary drama around visibility, publicity and branding. That means, there are no problems presented without solutions, all parties are clear on expected results, and our counsel is delivered in a grounded manner for you to see our point of view.
Each of these elements are incredibly important to how we run our business and work with our clients at Meg Androsiglio PR. Even if you are a law firm or a snack food brand, you deserve to have the smoothest, most luxurious experience with your PR and marketing team.
